Delaware led Drexel 53-19 with 2:36 remaining in the first half and was up 56-29 at halftime. But then Drexel set the men’s Division I record for a comeback win Thursday, overcoming a 34-point first-half deficit to beat Delaware 85-83.

The Dragons opened up the second half with an 18-4 run, then another 17-4 run later and outscoring the Delaware Blue Hens 56-27 overall.  Tramaine Isabell posted a double-double and made two free throws with 2.2 seconds left to give Drexel Dragons the lead for good.

The 34-point comeback set a new Division I record, breaking the previous record from 1950 when Duke came back from 32 points to beat Tulane.
